What is cubic zirconia?
Cubic Zirconia commonly called CZ is an inexpensive substitute for diamond. To an untrained eye, a CZ looks like a diamond. This is why many people substitute them for the real thing. Everything about a CZ is just like a diamond, except that one is natural and the other is man-made.
So what's the difference between a cubic zirconia and a diamond?
Apart from diamonds being natural, and last longer, they are also more expensive. Cubic zirconia are more affordable and has the same chemical and optical property as a diamond.
Cubic zirconia grades
Just like diamonds, cubic zirconia have grades too. They are rated from A to AAAAA. A is the lowest quality, while AAAAA is the highest quality available. There is a difference in the look and the price between the lowest and highest price.
How are cubic zirconia rated?
Same as diamonds, they are rated by the same 4C's- cut, clarity, color and carat.
All our fine jewelry uses the highest grade of cubic zirconia.
